For our R&D Department we are seeking a Hardware Designer for our offices based in Umbertide.


Main Responsibilities of the role:

The EMC Designer is responsible to:

  • Design and test electronic Boards and Power electronic devices (schematics and Layout)
  • Analize of technical feasibility and robustness of the project 
  • Write technical documentation (schematics, BOM, reports, …)
  • Technical support to vehicle production plan and start of production phases.
  • Propose advice and solutions on ongoing or perceived problems (which could occur)


Qualifications:

Experience: 5 or more years’ experience in power electronics design (inverters, DC/DC and AC/DC converters of medium/high power)


Skills and Competencies:

  • Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge in design, test and validation (for product performance, quality and reliability)
  • Good knowledge in design on electromagnetic compatibility
  • Experience in automotive electronics
  • Good knowledge concerning the modelling of components and simulations (eg.: Spice)
  • Good knowledge of electronic CAD program (Cadence and Altium designer)
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical measurements with the main laboratory instruments
  • Good in English
